Quietspace® Peel 'n' Stick ACOUSTIC FABRIC SELF ADHESIVE TILES

ACOUSTIC and MULTIPURPOSE WALL COVERINGS

The innovative Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric Self Adhesive Tiles provide a fashionable and practical solution whether you're wanting a pin-board or full room acoustic control. Self Adhesive Tiles have all the features and benefits of Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric, plus the added 'easy DIY use' of a self-adhesive backing.

Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric is a durable 100% polyester acoustic wall lining that is both decorative and highly effective in reducing reverberated noise. It is composed of the Vertiface® soft non-woven polyester fabric upper, heat-bonded to a polyester backing at least 10mm thick. Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric allows a designer to create attractive, quieter interiors for offices, children's bedroom, studies, meeting rooms, theatres, libraries, classrooms and other open spaces. Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric is available in 38 colour variations.

Installation Considerations

  • QuietspaceTM Peel 'n' Stick Tiles feature a strong instant-grab adhesive backing. Once applied, the tiles cannot be repositioned, and if removed, may cause damage to paint/plasterboard or other surfaces.
This can be overcome by screwing a thin board to the wall surface and then applying the tiles to the board.
  • QuietspaceTM Peel 'n' Stick Tiles should not be applied to concrete-block or brick walls, unless fully rendered.
  • QuietspaceTM Peel 'n' Stick Tiles have a pile: ensure the pile is running in the same direction to avoid colour variations. Arrows on the back of each tile assist this process.
  • Autex does not recommend butt joining different batch numbers due to batch variations. Where multiple packs are required, it is important to check that the batch numbers match.
  • Before cutting, ensure the product has been supplied as ordered, and defect free.
  • Always cut QuietspaceTM Peel 'n' Stick Tiles using a sharp snap-off knife and blades.
  • A full set of Design, Product Installation, Care and Cleaning documents are available at www.autex.com.au

POLYESTER ACOUSTIC FABRIC FOR WALLS

Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric is a durable 100% polyester acoustic wall lining that is both decorative and highly effective in reducing reverberated noise. It is composed of a VertifaceTM soft non-woven polyester fabric upper, heat-bonded to a polyester backing at least 10mm thick.

Resistant to moisture, staining and UV fade, they're easy to clean and will maintain their performance and good looks for many years.

Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric allows a designer to create attractive, quieter interiors for offices, meeting rooms, theatres, libraries, classrooms and other open spaces.

Highly effective reverberation control

Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric was specially developed by Autex as a contemporary wall fabric that would also reduce reverberated noise in building interiors. Its excellent acoustic properties see it typically absorbing reverberated noise by around 40%, improving privacy, comfort and productivity in a wide range of spaces.

Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric was a world first and has quickly become the market leader for cost-effective environmentally-friendly reverberation control.

To address the transmission of sound through walls, Autex recommends the use of Quietspace® Acoustic products in combination with QuietStuff® Acoustic Insulation (Sold seperately).

The eco-friendly acoustic wall lining

Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric is made from a soft non-woven polyester upper, thermally bonded to a polyester acoustic backing. Its pure polyester construction makes it an environmentally-friendly alternative to acoustic products containing chemical binders and adhesives. The polyester fibre is non-toxic, non-irritating and resistant to dust mites and bacteria that trigger asthma and other allergies.

Because Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric is free from other materials, it can also be recycled at the end of its life.

Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric is staple, pin and hook-and-loop receptive, so any wall surface can double as a notice board or display board without the creation of unsightly holes.

Design modular tiles and roll form

Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric is available in roll form and as self-adhesive tiles. Available in more than 35 colours and a choice of velour and ribbed finishes. Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric allows a designer creative freedom with modular use of colour.

The roll form is also ideally suited to the creation of custom cut-in designs. Because of their non-woven, non-fray construction, Quietspace® Acoustic Fabric allow designers to create feature designs such as cut-in logos, text, borders and inlays, offering the opportunity to mix colours and create modular check, stripe and border designs.
